Trout streams today are getting more fishing pressure each day due to the popularity of fly fishing. Just being on the stream and casting a line is no longer assurance that at day's end an angler will
creel a limit of fish. Anglers must fish hard and wisely for good results. Just the same today catch and release fishing is often just as rewarding as taking fish home.
A successful angler today needs to know information concerning types of flies, what they simulate in the water, and when to fish them. The ways of a trout and the food they eat are important for fly fishing
success.
Presenting the fly to the fish so that they aren't aware of your presence is very important. Yet this skill can be equally matched by presenting a fly that the trout will take. Put these two ideas together and you as an angler will have greater success.

Mountains National Park in North Carolina and Tennessee and surrounding streams.
